The Wildcats continued to chip away in the final period, outscoring Utah 19-10 and pulling within one point late. Arizona was unable to convert on its final possession, and the Utes held on for the win.
Utah was led by Lani White, who scored 26 points. Reese Ross added 10 points and 14 rebounds. Mickayla Perdue led Arizona with 16 points, while Noelani Cornfield finished with 11 points and 10 assists, and Tanyuel Welch added 11 points and seven rebounds. Utah shot 39.4 percent from the field, while Arizona finished at 37.3 percent. Arizona forced 15 turnovers and scored 12 fast-break points.
